Welcome Reception on August 29, 2022 - Agorà Morelli (Naples)

The Agorà Morelli is located within the very famous historical site “Galleria Borbonica” and it is at walking distance from the conference venue. Directions to reach it can be found here.

The Galleria Borbonica is an underground cavity of Naples that extends under the hill of Pizzofalcone, near Palazzo Reale, in the district of San Ferdinando. It is also a special place for concerts and theatrical events made in rooms with excellent acoustics; the environments offer a magical atmosphere characterized by an intense contrast between the ancient and the modern. Several tours to visit it are available.

Banquet on August 31, 2022 - Villa Posillipo, Pozzuoli (Naples)

Social dinner of Ro-man 2022 will take place at Villa Posillipo.

The location overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Pozzuoli. It faces the Castello di Baia, the promontory of Capo Miseno and the islands of Ischia, Procida and Vivara.

The town of Pozzuoli is located in one of the most impressive volcanic areas in the world, the famous Campi Flegrei (a protected natural area since 2003).

Much appreciated by the Greeks and the Romans and by the rulers of subsequent historical periods.

Worthy of note is the site known as “Solfatara”, an area affected (like the whole area) by the phenomenon of bradyseism (progressive lowering of the territory above sea level).
